The Quincy area has a diverse economic base of at least 100 manufacturers, along with abundant commercial services and a growing retail sector. The industrial segment is made up of a number of century-old companies and a refreshing mix of hi-tech and small businesses. The retail sector is balanced by both a thriving downtown and the presence of numerous national chains.
